Alexis Gerdes is an Executive Neuroscience Sales Specialist for Teva Pharmaceuticals, Inc. She earned her B.S. degree in Chemistry and minor in Media Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she competed as a Division I athlete on the Cross Country/Track and Field team. Upon graduation, Alexis worked for a law firm as a paralegal before transitioning into a sales career. She has a background in business-to-business sales and has been in the medical sales industry for 12 years, specializing in various therapeutic areas, including Neurology, Rare Disease, Respiratory, Cardiology and Endocrinology. Alexis and her husband Lane, who recently retired from the Navy, have three children and live in Virginia Beach. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, as well as running in 5k races. Alexis has a passion for local politics and supports the Navy Special Warfare (NSW) community as a Peer Mentor Network volunteer. She and her family attend Beach Fellowship Church and are actively involved in homeless outreach.
